misim: LLM in Wellington or Canterbury

Hello,

I just finished my law studies in Germany.
I consider to spent the next year in New Zealand, to take part in a LLM programme.

Does anyone know something specific about the LLM (International Law and Politics) programme in Canterbury?
I just received a study-offer for 2006. Besides Canterbury, I applied for the LLM programme in Wellington.
Is it worth to wait for a response from them???

Is anybody else taking part in one of the programms next year?

Hello,
When deciding on what universities I would choose I looked at where most Australian academics obtain their LLM's (because I am Australian). I also think that seeing where successful academics and lawyers get their LLM's speaks volumes about that university.

Some get their LLM's from Canterbury. Have not seen one from Wellington - so, here in Oz I would say Canterbury has a better name.

Sorry, forgot to say...

Although, VU of Wellington has a good law journal that I see constantly when researching any topic.

They are both good schools.
