Hi guys, I will attend my LL.M in International Legal Studies Program this Spring semester in American University (WCL), does any body knows how is this program?
I want to focus in International Protection of Human Right.
Do you know which subjects or professors are worth it?

Thank you very much for your advice.

George.

American University Washington College of Law is well known for international human rights law. As a student you will have the opportunity to take courses with leading scholars like Paul Williams, a 2005 Nobel Peace Prize nominee for his work in international relations and post-conflict rebuilding, and Professor Robert K. Goldman who was recently appointed by the Secretary-General of the International Commission of Jurists to participate on the Eminent Jurists Panel. The law school also hosts the summer Human Rights Academy, which brings together some of the most respected international scholars. The Academy offers 1-2 credit week-long courses in a variety of human rights topics.

Being in Washington, you will have the opportunity to apply for internships with many of the organizations in the area. I am certain that AU, like Georgetown and GW will offer direct internship with some of these organizations and agencies.

Thanks a lot for your information.
If you could recommend me some interesting organizations to do internships that would be great.
