A french University where all the basic legal education is instructed in English and I think if you applied to HLS you noticed the statement: If your basic legal education instructed in English you can ask a waiver,Tue Feb 07, 2006 10:00 AM So I request a waiver Cornell seems, to be ok and HLS in their last email said that the request is pending |

This is interesting indeed - I wasn't aware that there were French universities with instruction in English. Last I checked, universities like Paris I, Paris II, Aix-Marseille, etc. all have courses in French.Tue Feb 07, 2006 02:47 PM A french University where all the basic legal education is instructed in English and I think if you applied to HLS you noticed the statement: If your basic legal education instructed in English you can ask a waiver, |

I have heard nothing from Harvard, apart from the fact that I know they have been sent my LSAC report. I emailed them but no reply. I had to send them a money order from a French post office for the application fee and have no way of knowing if they ever received it.

Good luck to all of you who are waiting for admission decision from HLS. I know how painful the waiting is.Fri Feb 10, 2006 01:27 PM For your information, as far as I've asked from my classmates, we (students of the class 2005-2006) got the admission email all at the same time on March 25 (or 26) of last year. If I have chance to talk to the admission office, I will ask whether they have tentative date for annoucing the first- round decision and will let you know. Keep your finger crossed. Cambridge/Boston is such a nice city to live in! [Edited 10 Feb 2006 by Chris] |

Chris:Fri Feb 10, 2006 03:38 PM Thanks for the information and your help in getting the real inside information as to when we all will become aware of Harvards class of 2006. Our anxiety creates a lot of misinformation on the chat. Many of us have followed your 2005 class journey last year on this chat. We are now going through the same double thinking that is exhibited in your classes chat. In a month all this will be food for the next years class so we will all hit critical mass about mid-March. Is Harvard really a Harvard? |

Just got HLS's e-mail stating that decisions will out around March 27!!Fri Mar 17, 2006 07:00 PM Follow is the e-mail I received: "An email was sent out to you on February 22, 2006 stating that decisions were going to be made by the 17th of March, 2006. This information is no longer accurate. We are still in the process of reviewing applications and decisions will not be made until the last week of March. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Decision letters will be sent to you the week of March 27th. You may call our office for decision results beginning on March 29th. " |

Mon Mar 20, 2006 07:59 PM Apparently, there are some people on this Board who did not receive the email notice from Harvard that admission decisions would not be issued until next week. Anyone have any information / idea as to why some of us received this notice, and others did not? |
