<description>I believe the fact that you studied as an &quot;external&quot; student does appear on the transcript. However, at the same time, the University of London is quick to point out also on the transcript, that irrespective of the mode of study ie. external, the standard of qualification is the same had you studied on campus.  

I don&#39;t think a specific college name appears; I&#39;ve never heard of a London School of Economics &quot;degree&quot; per se, just the University of London degree.
