Fri Mar 18, 2011 06:09 PM Does anyone know when AHRC decisions are made? Im not entirely sure but I read that we find out in April. However, I have emailed Suzanne asking her this so I will post her response when I receive it. I received an offer from Oxford today, could I ask how many others are in? I dont know how to choose now :S |

Congrats Dionne! There's a separate thread for Oxford decisions, which should give you an idea of numbers.

Dear eaglelegal I am from P.R. China and here is still no news to come for me about Cambridge. Although the possibility is fading as time goes by, I decide to wait till April 15th, the date they promised to make the last offer for this year. ^^ best wishes |

Dear, HongKong isnt China, neither PR China, nor RO China. And people from Hongkong never think of they are Chinese or they belong to China. |

Nevertheless, HK (SAR! ;-)) still lies in Asia. Take it easy*. *(Words of somebody coming from a country usually mixed-up for Slovakia.) |

I haven't heard and I guess that means I am not admitted. Do Cambridge send rejection letters?

Judging by last years' posts, no rejections are sent untill the the last minute. People then usually get really anxious with time and decide to phone Miss Wade and ask her.Mon Mar 21, 2011 11:53 AM I need a piece of advice. I am extreeeemely worried about my academic conditions. Everything depends on whether they will ask me to graduate by a CERTAIN date or simply with a specific AVERAGE grade. Do you think I could phone Miss Wade and ask her about my academic condition? The uncertainty is killing me.. :( p.s. those of you whose CamSis has been updated, does it show your conditions? thnx so much! |

Mon Mar 21, 2011 11:57 AM Cambridge has just released their provisional list of papers to be offered in 2011/12: Is anyone else dissapointed by the reduction in international law modules this year? They have dropped International Criminal Law, History and Philosophy of International Law and Law of Armed Conflict without replacing them with other international modules. I know the modules change every year, but I was dissapointed |

Do we know if it's normal that our camsis status has not been updated yet and that we have not received our formal offers?

Mon Mar 21, 2011 02:17 PM Cambridge has just released their provisional list of papers to be offered in 2011/12: Yes, I am. I think they should definitely revise their choice of Int'l law courses (after all, the list is supposed to be subject to amendments). |

yep its frustrating, one of the reasons for this is that the faculty are losing a number of law fellows who are leaving cambridge. [bad] luck of the draw..

Does anyone know whether Professor Christine Gray and Dr Roger O'Keefe are leaving? If so, where are they going?

So why have the above courses been taken off the list for next year if they intend to remain?

On a related note, and I know this is subjective, but does anyone have an opinion on who the "can't miss" lecturers are at Cambridge? In other words, which profs have such a fantastic reputation that it would be silly to go to Cambridge and not take advantage of the opportunity to learn from them?
