LLM in China/Hong Kong--general questions
Hello:Sat Dec 24, 2005 03:29 AM I am an Asian American attorney and speak conversational mandarin. I was considering a LLM at either Tsinghua (in English and and the program that is NOT in conjunction with Temple as Temple does not have a good reputation in America) or a LLM in Hong Kong (HKU or CUHK) My general questions are: 1. How difficult is it for an American attorney to be admitted? I went to a top 20 law school and graduated with honors--or are these schools looking at primarily Ivy applicants? 2. I believe that Tsinghua does not offer scholarships--any ideas for funding? 3. any thoughts on Tsinghua v. HKU thanks. |

I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind traveling or living in any of those three places.
