Hello, I would be grateful if anyone is able to inform me of any other university in Europe other than Dundee University in the U.K., that offers an LL.M degree in Oil and Petrolem Law. Many Thanks!

Hi. I guess the Dundee LLM is the only European LLM specialized in Energy Law - and one of the few in the world. The other I´ve heard of is taught at the University of Houston (US)

Thank you for your reply. Does anyone know if Shell or any of the other Oil companies have programmes for lawyers that one can join.

The university of Oslo has their own Petroleum Law Institute. I don't think they have an LLM for that, but I think the Maritime Law LLM offers a lot of those classes. This program is highly recognized.

From their webpages:

The Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law forms part of the University of Oslo, and is also supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers, and a number of other sponsors. The main activities of the Institute are teaching and research in Maritime and Transport Law, as well as Petroleum and Energy Law. The professors also maintain a broad activity in general commercial law.
