Thu Mar 31, 2011 05:10 PM Then do you mind sharing your reply to their questions, e.g., your interest in SLS? Not at all!! I said I was still interested, and had no questions... It took me by surprise, because I tought Stanford forgot about me... Anyway, I really don't know what kind of answer they were expecting, I receive the same call from NYU, but after I was admitted... |

Hey MayZ, have you decided to not accept NYU’s scholarship? Best of luck.

Thu Mar 31, 2011 06:27 PM Hey MayZ, have you decided to not accept NYU’s scholarship? Best of luck. I'm going to NYU, I was only too surprised to think and respond to the woman's questions, but I have no intention to go to other place - my husband will go to Chicago, and I don't like the idea of living on the other side of the country. I declined columbia and had withdraw from chicago, but forgot about Stanford...have to do it now!!! [Edited by MayZ on 31 Mar 2011] |

Ok! Thanks for the reply. I totally understand it!!! =) But perhaps it would be nice if you could send Stanford a short message stating that you are not going there... This way they might have more seats available for other students still interested the IELBP program! But of course it’s up to u. =)

They know that most of the deadlines for admission offers are on the 1st of April. I can't believe how irresponsable they are!

Has anyone else received a call? Thu Mar 31, 2011 08:04 PM I don´t think they will release all decisions by tomorrow. I agree it is not good for who has other deadlines to meet. |

Gee! This thread is more active than Obama's tweeter account! ;)Fri Apr 01, 2011 07:14 AM On a more serious note, and as I mentioned before, those admitted over the last month were given until the 11th of April to confirm their enrollment. Thus, some of you may be receiving good news shortly thereafter. If you have conflicting deadlines and would like to wait and see what happens with SLS, then contact the other unis to request a few more weeks to make an informed decision. Good luck! --- |

Rrai,Fri Apr 01, 2011 08:27 AM were you given the April 11th deadline that Oldtimer was talking about? @Kaosun, only one or two people from this forum got into each program so it's not too crazy to only see so few people getting calls for IELBP. Crummy! But not surprising per se. [Edited by akitz on 01 Apr 2011] |

I was just admitted to IELBP. But no deadline was mentioned. So weird. Hope it is not due to April Fools' Day.
