“Developed in consultation with the School of Law and the Department of Linguistics at Northwestern University, The Legal English Program is a four-week series of intensive Legal English classes held on Northwestern's beautiful downtown Chicago campus. The purpose of the program is to prepare international legal professionals to communicate effectively in English, whether in the classroom or the courtroom. Through language activities, lectures, guided practice, simulations, and group projects, students will become more proficient and more comfortable speaking in English in legal contexts.”

Our internationally-acclaimed faculty provide the opportunity for a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of U.S. and international law. Students study with our regular J.D. class and many choose a broad overview of law, taking courses in a wide variety of subjects. Others concentrate in a particular area of specialization such as Business Law, International and Comparative Law, IP Law, Labor and Employment Law, Law & Economics, Taxation, Property and Environmental Law and Jurisprudence.”
