News and EventsIn November 2008, Filippo Lorenzon visited Mexico City where he spoke at the ICC Model Contracts seminar at the local Chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce. During his visit, Filippo gave a speech to the Southampton Alumni on "Modernizing maritime law the traditional way. Achilleas and Rafaela S: the House of Lords' recent interference with the law of carriage of goods by sea". The event was hosted by the School of Law, University of Southampton and co-organized by Angelica Garcia - President of the Mexican Alumni Association - and the Mexican Maritime Law Association. Filippo also visited TEC de Monterrey, one of the leading universities in the Country, with which the University is discussing the possibility of future collaborative research and students exchange programmes.
