Since the fall of 1998, HEC Montréal and the University of Montreal’s Law Faculty jointly offer a Master of Laws, Taxation option, to those who wish to perfect their training in taxation, and acquire an integrated vision of all aspects of taxation covered in the Graduate Diploma in Taxation. This new program includes a supervised research project and offers students the possibility of completing a training period in a working environment.
Length of Studies

1 year full-time (Graduate Diploma and Master, excluding supervised research project)
or 4 years part-time
Admission Requirements

Completed courses in the Graduate Diploma in Taxation with an average of at least 70%, or equivalent; obtained approval from the program’s two co-directors; sound knowledge of spoken and written French and sufficient knowledge of written English.
