LL.M. Program (full-time)
The one-year LL.M. Program integrates American and international law students at all levels of study and provides LL.M. candidates with a broad curriculum of many different courses. Through the LL.M. Program, international law graduates are able to gain a basic knowledge of the U.S. legal system and also have the opportunity to develop special expertise in a particular area of law.
Students are encouraged to apply by January 10, but applications are accepted and reviewed thereafter.
Summer LL.M. in International Commercial Law (part-time)
The International Commercial Law LL.M. Program is designed to provide specialized knowledge in international business and trade with an emphasis on the U.S. legal system in a comparative context. The program and schedule enable legal practitioners who wish to expand their breadth and depth of knowledge to obtain a master's degree by attending 6 weeks of courses for two to five consecutive summers at the School of Law at University of California, Davis. This is a part-time degree program for international and domestic lawyers.
The final date for receipt of online applications is May 30. To apply after May 30 and before the program begins on July 12, 2009, please contact the LL.M. Admissions Office at lawinfo@unexmail.ucdavis.edu or (530) 757-8569.
