Located in the heart of New York City at Lincoln Center, minutes from beautiful Central Park, Fordham offers students a unique academic and cultural experience. Students may enroll full-time or part-time.

The Law School

Since its founding in 1905, Fordham University School of Law has had a profound and positive impact on the legal profession. Throughout its history, Fordham Law has quickly grown from a competitive New York institution to one of the largest and most respected law schools in the nation.

The School's 14,000 active alumni practice across the United States and 57 other countries. LL.M. Alumni are from 85 countries around the world. The annual Princeton Review survey of law schools calls Fordham "one of the top law schools in the country".

The Program

Fordham Law School offers four graduate degrees – the Master of Laws in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law; the Master of Laws in International Business and Trade Law; the Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and Information Technology; and the Master of Laws in International Law and Justice. Fordham Law School’s graduate degrees are designed to provide highly selective studies that give a distinct professional advantage to those who want to be leading practitioners and policymakers in these challenging and fast changing fields.

The Faculty

The Faculty of Fordham Law is composed of 75 full-time professors and over 200 adjunct professors. These master educators have remarkable achievements as scholars and are fully committed to public service.

The Faculty believes its primary purposes to be the preparation of students for the practice of law and the stimulation of their interest in legal scholarship. This contemplates not simply the training of individuals qualified as legal technicians but, more importantly their education as lawyers fully conscious of their responsibilities to client and community.

Entry Requirements

U.S. Law School Graduates are required to have (1) graduated from an accredited, four-year college or university or its equivalent; and (2) graduated from an approved American undergraduate school of law.
