The University
Located on a green campus in the oldest city in the Netherlands, Radboud University Nijmegen is a welcoming, forward-looking, research-based centre of learning that covers the full range of academic disciplines. It has excellent study facilities and libraries, and a lively student culture. Almost all of the teaching staff are involved in both education and research. This combination offers a dual advantage: research facilities that attract the brightest and the best, and a stimulating learning environment that provides access to the latest findings. The Faculty

The Faculty of Law of Radboud University Nijmegen has a long standing reputation of excellence as is demonstrated by the national rating lists. The Faculty is deliberately kept relatively small to be able to provide the student with personal academic supervision.
Over the last twenty years, the Faculty of Law has established many international links, which have resulted in interaction with more than fifty universities all over Europe, in the USA and Australia. The Faculty of Law thus has an invaluable experience of teaching in English and in catering for foreign students. The key to the international orientation of the Faculty of Law, is the department of European Law, which aims for a high standard in the approach to the study of European law.

Student Life

The town dates back to Roman times, when it was known as Novio Magus. With a population of 150,000, it has a rich social and cultural life, including a variety of film, theatre and music venues, international festivals and sports events. Nijmegen is easily accessible from all parts of the Netherlands, and, thanks to good public transport connections, cities such as Brussels and Paris are only a few hours away. Within the town itself, however, the best way to get around is by bicycle.
