Opened this forum to understand how many of us already have decisions from NYU for Fall 2015! And if any one has an idea as to when the decisions start coming out !

My application is complete. So anytime between now and Mid March I suppose ! Fingures crossed . All the best guys !

My understanding from previous applicants and the LLM LSAC forum is that they do not respond on a rolling basis. Rather they review and then respond to the majority of applicants in mid-March.

And yet I still find myself refreshing my email on twice hourly basis - just in case.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know whether acceptance notices need to be accepted by a candidate by a specific deadline and, if so, how one might deal with an acceptance notice which needs to be accepted before mid-March/beginning of April, when other programs release their decisions.

I applied to several programs and have not received any answer yet, however taking the risk of being overly-optimistic, my concern is that I will be accepted to a certain program (which ranks lower in my list of priorities) before receiving any feedback from other programs which I prefer.

I have heard of people who have accepted offers (pending other scholarships offered) and have then rejected the offer they accepted as they did not receive the scholarships they hoped for.

I got an email today saying that the Graduate Admissions Committee has reviewed my application and just asked for a supplementary document. This is much after I got the email saying my application is complete.

Is this positive?

Or maybe it's an indication that they do send out offers on a rolling basis.

Has anyone heard from them too?

Yes the same thing happened to me. I think the receipt of that document will allow them to start reviewing your application.

I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but the requirements list on my app online status has gone blank, probably because they're reviewing apps already.

Still, I believe we won't be hearing any news until mid march...

Hi, the mailing section of my status checker indicates a recent mailing on 01/22/2015, which I have not received... I wrote to the Office of Graduate Admissions but have not been replied yet. Does anyone know what it is about? Probably an additional request on my application materials? Thanks a lot.

Up to this moment I received only two mails from NYU, the first one was an automatic response to let me know my application was received. The second one three days later to let me know that my application was complete and ready to be submitted to the Committee on Grad Admissions... and my mailing list is empty.

Any one hearing from NYU for the Regular track yet?

nothing yet. I think we'll find out only in March.

Did some of you submit a 500-550 words personal statement or did everyone submit an "exact" 500 words one ?

Mine is 555 words according to the 10% rule (lol) and I'm a bit worried !
