Human Rights UCL vs. LSE

Does anybody have any opinions/reviews about the Human Rights programs at UCL or LSE? I live in the US, and can't go to either school to see what it's like, so anything would be great. Thanks guys.

I do not have personal experience at LSE and UCL but know that both Universities, LSE and UCL are highly valued for their Human rights program. I believe LSE has higher entry standards, a better research quality and good graduate prospects while Alumnis at UCL comment on a higher student satisfaction, a higher satisfaction with teaching and a student to staff ratio. Please do not overvalue the comment as both Universities are great and the differences are minor ones. Their ranking (Guardian, Complete University Guide) is almost equivalent.

Hello!!
I thought I should leave an update to this post. I ended up getting into both programs and chose LSE just because of its international name. Since I don't know if I'll stay in the UK or go abroad this was important to me.

I don't know how UCL's program is but I can speak for LSE. It has so far been pretty wonderful. The professors are all engaging and extremely intelligent. They all sincerely want you to learn. The diversity at LSE is incredible and it's pretty cool to be talking about one issue in a country and then have a student from that country talk from experience. Class sizes range from about 50 (the compulsory course so inevitable) to 10. Most courses are capped at 30 people. There is a huge range of courses to choose from and you are given the option to choose from outside the given course choices if you have a good reason. You can look at the courses offered on LSE's website. Everyone is so passionate about human rights and its fantastic to be in these classrooms with people that share similar thoughts and goals. But everyone's background and experiences are different so that makes it fun too. I highly recommend LSE!!

Good luck to all you applicants!!
