Hello,
following my previous thread (http://www.llm-guide.com/board/141881/last/#post-143712) I would like to discuss some options where to study international banking/financial law. I have been admitted to a number of UK universities offering such LLM programms, but it seems I will have to finance my studies without scholarship (I can´t afford QMUL or Edinburgh without it).
So I have selected "last candidates":
1. Glasgow - Corporate & Financial Law:
the choice of subject, reputation of the programme etc. look to be fine (including some posts of alumnis here)
2. Sussex - International Financial Law
3. Leeds - International Banking and Finance Law
4. Manchester - International Financial Law -actually I am still waiting for scholarship application outcome here, but even with scholarship the course unit list looks strange...only two subjects focused on banking and finance (2x30 credits) and then subjects like International Sale of Goods, Trade Mark Law and Policy....???!! (http://www.manchester.ac.uk/study/masters/courses/list/01060/international-financial-law-llm/course-details/)
I need to take the costs into account, but I want to study somewhere where it really makes sense. I would appreciate
your advice, recommendations, experience, comments - I have to make my final decision ASAP.
Thank you!
banking/finance - Glasgow, Sussex, Leeds or Manchester

Ok, so my situation is even more complicated now :( I have got a scholarship for Manchester...so the question is if I should study without paying fees there, or should I choose a different programme and pay 6000-/7000 pounds?
Does anybody know some LLM student/alumni from Manchester (not necessarily IFL programme)?
