Hello everyone!
I need your help. I cannot decide between Georgetown and Berkeley. They didn't offer any financial aid. I know that Berkeley is a better ranked school. However, after graduation, I would like to work in the US, especially in NY. (I know it is very hard to find a job.) Which option could be better for this purpose?

I guess Georgetown.
1- Berkeley has a better rank ( no. 8 and Gt no. 14). However, when looking to tier 14 you see ( Yale Harvard Columbia Standord) as a creme dela creme ( one rank). And from NYC to Gt they are la creme ( they are all in one stage).
2- Georgetown located in a much better place ( for you who would like to work in NYC). Why? NYC is 3 hours trip by train from DC. You can go attend meetings there and that would make your network even stronger. All important institutions are around in DC. ( The library of the Congress. The supreme court. Gulc is the legal center for US Capitol. International Monetry Fund. Lobbies). Your chance for having an int. In one of them are quite high.
3- Your embassy. Where are you from? All embassies are located in DC. In every occasion, your embassy shall invite you to attend the event. You'll get to know the ambassador and government employers. You'll meet many important people and that will help you in your career ( as references).
4- Networking in DC is better than Berkeley. The program has more students.
5- Gt has more LL.M programs.
6- Your chances to clerk with Supreme court judges are much much higher.
7- Berkeley campus is bigger. Betkeley has nicer weather.
I would endorse Georgetown for you.

Thanks for the opinion. Well, you might be right. I am from Turkey, and I interned at the Turkish Embassy before. So, networking chances are better in DC.
