Hi,
I am writing for a friend of mine. She has done LLB from India and wants to move to US. She is presently confused as to whether she should pursue a LLM via correspondence or a Company Secretary course via correspondence in India. Finally she wants to work in US in the corporate sector only.
So would anyone be knowing if any of these are recognized in US? Or whether she even needs anything besides the LLB? I being an engineer have very little knowledge but a friend told me that if you work under a lawyer for some time and then give a bar exam, then you are good to practice law.
Also, if she only wants to be a company secretary, then does she require to go through some courses or is she eligible for that right away?
Thanks,
Brahm
