Hi guys,
I am currently doing my LL.M at American University and I have no intention to sit to the Bar. But I found that many students in our program want to sit to the Bar. But I think it is not a good idea to do LL.M if you want to take the bar because you will be allowed to take it just in NY or California which have the most difficult bar.
I think the best idea is to do a 2 years JD program so that you can be allowed to take the bar in any state you want.
In the two years JD of Richmond you are not required to take the LSAT exam. Their requirements for JD are the same as for LL.M.
I think it is better to do a program that helps to find more and easier options.
I thought that would help some of you.
2 years JD instead of LL.M if you want the Bar!
