I applied for admission on January 29th, and it's been a little while since then. However, I haven't received any communication regarding the decision yet (it still just says application complete).

I'm curious to know if anyone else in the community has applied around the same time and has heard back from the admissions committee. If so, could you kindly share your experience regarding the timeline of the decision process?

Additionally, if anyone has insights into typical decision timelines or suggestions on how to reach out to the admissions office for an update without coming across as impatient, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have been admitted into NYU with a very basic (read: minimal) scholarship amount. To be able to negotiate with NYU, I need to show that I have received scholarship from another US institution. I applied to Georgetown on 5th February and my application was complete on 8th February. Can anyone throw some light on whether following up via email will help in expediting the decision making process/communication of decision? This is the sixth week since I applied. Or should I just wait it out?
