Leiden Law School Launches MSc in Law & Society

New program to explore how laws and legal institutions affect society

The Netherlands' Leiden Law School has announced the launch of a new master's program in law: "MSc in Law and Society: Governance and Global Development."

The new program will explore how laws and legal institutions affect society, as well as how society influences law. As such, the core curriculum will focus on topics such as "Legal Pluralism," "Lawmaking, Politics and Society," and "The Foundations of Law and Society," among others.

Along with some elective offerings, the program will also include a thesis component.

Leiden's new MSc in Law and Society: Governance and Global Development is set to launch later this year.
